the uala table lamp

Acclaimed German designer Sebastian Herkner created Uala for Serax, an elegant porcelain lamp with a tropical shape. Herkner was inspired by the pleated leaves of Licuala Grandis or the Ruffled Palm. Hence the name Uala. The lampshade was carefully modelled by hand, with beautiful imperfections. Because of the slight undulation, Uala seems frozen in movement in the wind. Uala comes in two sizes, making it the perfect lamp for a table or on a sideboard.

Slight variations and imperfections may apply due to an artisanal handmade production process. Differences in shades, irregularities in stone or ceramics, patina on metal surfaces, wood cracking and more are considered as an added value that makes this piece as unique.
