The traditional Japanese art form of origami inspired  the ORU series. What began with the design of a delicate and sculptural side table has developed into a complete and functional furniture collection.

The ORU side table is the centerpiece of the series. Based on the principles of origami, the table is made of thin metal sheets that are folded to create a three-dimensional sculptural form. The small but important details, such as the laser-cut joints and the gently curved interfaces, give the table its characteristic aesthetic.
Two very different sizes can also be combined to cover a larger area.

Slight variations and imperfections may apply due to an artisanal handmade production process. Differences in shades, irregularities in stone or ceramics, patina on metal surfaces, wood cracking and more are considered as an added value that makes this piece as unique.
